About Our Agency

I accomplished my personal dream when I adopted
my two daughters, Kelsey and Amelia, from China
in 2000 and 2004 respectfully.  When I walked out
of Amelia's orphanage in Luoyang, Henan and left
over 400 orphans behind, I knew that many of
those children would never find their
forever
families
and many might not even survive.  I
re-evaluated what was really important in my life. . .
a change was needed.

In West Virginia I saw a need to provide an agency
that not only performed the standard home study
and post-placement services but was there to hold
the hand of the prospective parent(s) and help
guide them through the entire process -- from start
to finish.  When I first adopted, I felt alone and
didn't know where to turn next.  I don't want other
families to feel that way.

In addition to the services we provide, we are also
committed to providing extensive support during
and after the adoption process for families.  We
encourage families who adopt to continually
educate themselves about their child's homeland
and to provide their child with instruction, training,
and a sense of ethnic identity about his or her
country of birth.  We provide each family ongoing
guidance and support to accomplish these goals.
